Duluth

In the beginning of October, we took a little mini-vacation to Duluth. We had a great time! We stayed at the Edgewater Resort and loved it. It had a waterpark which was great with the kids. The weather ended up being pretty cool so I was glad we had that indoor waterpark option. We stayed three nights and Macy was so excited about that! We have only ever been gone one night (that she remembers) and so to stay THREE nights was just amazing to her! :-) The kids did really great, despite being very tired. I think Murphy got a little homesick because once he was home, you could tell he was just so happy and kept going from toy to toy at home with a big smile on his face!
Funny side note - Macy still talks about the trip and remembers our room number! We were just talking about the trip again tonight and she asked me, So why did we stay in room 1-3-3-8? She cracks me up!

This was the first night we got there on the balcony off our room.

Murphy fit nicely in the one of the cupboards in our room!

Sunrise the first morning we were there...

Heading to Goosebury Falls...

 Canal Park....

We took the kids on a short, scenic train ride - Macy was very, very excited about this!!!

The majority of the time was really spent at the waterpark though!
I was very impressed overall by the hotel and waterpark - would definitely go back!

There was a big bucket of water that dumped every so often when it got full. The first day and a half or so, Macy was completely afraid. I could hardly get her to go in this area. Then all of the sudden, she decided it was so fun and would run up to get wet when it dumped (a bell warned you it would dump). So crazy! She is waiting her in this picture, bottom right.

Tiki Tom and Murphy
Murphy was curious about this guy, Macy was afraid! She wouldn't get out of the pool when he was in there because she knew he wouldn't come in there! :-) Luckily he was only there one night!

Probably her favorite thing there! She got very good!

A very tired boy by the end of the trip...
